Heritage Woods

Family oriented, with great schools, close to transit systems, lakes, parks and with stunning views... don't miss out on this opportunity to begin your new life in Heritage Woods!

Uniquely situated, offering easy access to nature and a 40 minute drive to both downtown Vancouver and the US border, Heritage Woods offers the perfect opportunity to achieve the work-life balance you have been looking for! And with the new Skytrain Evergreen Extension now connecting Port Moody with Vancouver, access to this oasis has become even easier.

PARKS AND TRAILS

If you love the outdoors, then you'll love Heritage Woods! There are a wealth of parks and trails to explore and best of all, they are located in the local area so you don't have to drive to get in touch with nature!

Beautiful Belcarra Regional Park features picnic areas, a pier, canoe and kayak rentals, as well as spectacular views across the Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm. Nearby Buntzen Lake is a swimming oasis in summer and offers an abundance of hiking trails into the surrounding mountains. And right on your door step, you can immerse yourself in nature in Bert Flinn Park, a popular retreat for locals. Largely undeveloped, the park has an extensive trail system for hikers, dog walkers and mountain bikers.

BREWER'S ROW

Spending time in Port Moody is even better now that you can set out on your own mini ale trail! Brewer's Row has really put Port Moody on the map, and beer lovers will agree that Port Moody is anything but sleepy - it has become a destination!

Priced out of downtown Vancouver, millennials are building ‘hipsturbia’

This enclave of artisanal urbanity is not in Vancouver's Gastown – it's a one-hour SkyTrain ride away, in the small suburb of Port Moody, which sits on Burrard Inlet, surrounded by mountains.

Port Moody used to be the place you'd pass through on your way to Buntzen Lake. But in the past couple of years, the city has transformed from strip malls to locally sourced mom and pop shops – and the hipster culture that entails.

The new SkyTrain Evergreen line, which opened in December, also opened up major possibilities. Now, Vancouverites make day trips into Port Moody for its popular Brewery Row, with craft breweries along an industrial three-block stretch.

With four main breweries located on the same row, all within walking distance of each other, Brewer's Row has become quite the tourist attraction! And if you fancy a stroll after sampling the local beers, Rocky Point Park offers shoreline trails, a pier, great scenery as well as fish and chips and ice cream! What's not to love?!

SHOPPING AND TRANSIT

Local shopping and services can be found at the foot of Heritage Mountain at Newport Village and Suter Brook Village. Both offer an array of boutique shops, trendy cafes and restaurants, as well as all of the everyday essential outlets.

Heritage Woods is serviced by a regular shuttle bus that also connects to Coquitlam and Port Moody SkyTrain stations. Accessing downtown Vancouver is super easy now, thanks to the SkyTrain Evergreen Extension and commuting to Waterfront from Port Moody via the West Coast Express is a mere 25 minute hassle free journey.
